Cabinet makers use their best expertise to create these Living Frames. A standard Living Frame is 2.5 feet long by 2 feet tall and contains one planted module. Each module is 21” wide, 14” tall and 5” deep, planted with 12 plants and filled up with a custom-engineer, lightweight soil. The soil provides aeration and drainage while satisfying a large capacity for water storage.

To insure humidity resistance and long-term durability, a plastic insert – which integrates the water reservoir – perfectly lines the inside of the wooden frame. The plastic insert is waterproof and makes the Living Frame entirely leak-proof.

Smaller Living Frames are easily watered from the top, while larger Living Frames are equipped with a water pump and drip lines for watering.

Each Living Frame is designed with a concealed water tank, which is located behind the bottom part of the decorative frame. The water reservoir is equipped with a water level and a drainage valve. The tank collects water runoff and also doubles as an additional water reserve. The Living Frame attaches easily to any kind of wall surface, free-standing structure, or stand.
